About timeSense

"timeSense" is a simple web application which can host pre-defined messages on its web URL endpoint. Any user can view the message once he/she authorized him/herself into timeSense web portal. The prime purpose of this web app is to enjoy pre-configured wishful messages from sender to receiver.

Who we are

"timeSense" is developed under independent software designing entity called "SimplySoft", which is a distribution of "MyJourney" with MIT Open-Source software license.

Purpose of the privacy policy

"timeSense" always committed to keep your privacy when using this web service. This privacy policy was created to acknowledge the value of your personal data. Please read it as it emphasizes the important facts with respect to your personal data on how we collect them and use them.

This web portal does not require any pre-registered user accounts in order to use it. Therefore, no sensitive data (like passwords, security keys... etc.) exchange is going to happen during any use-case of this web application. This web application, "timeSense" has entirely written by considering the primary fact as security and privacy.

Types of data collected

When you access timeSense, we may collect certain information from you. This includes:

1. First name, last name, email address and public profile picture of your Google account.
2. First name, last name, email address and public profile picture of your Facebook account.

Information from Third-Party Authentication Providers: When you sign in to timeSense using your Facebook or Google account, we collect your name, profile picture, and email address from the respective authentication provider.

Event Configuration: In order to send surprise wishes, The app needs to be configured the wish message within the web app. This message is stored temporarily during your session and is not saved or forwarded to anywhere else.

Usage of data

Here by, timeSense web application never store any of collected data on any platform or storage. However, "timeSense" uses these collected data on following purposes.

1. Authentication: This web service requires you to authenticate yourself into it using any third-party identity providers of Facebook or Google.
2. Build message: This web application uses your first name, last name and profile picture which were collected from any identity providers above after successfully authenticating yourself to generate timeSense pre-defined messages as its prime function.
3. Send emails: timeSense sends wishful email messages to the same email address collected from the intended identity provider.

Third-Party Authentication Providers: When you sign in to timeSense using your Facebook or Google account, we collect your name, profile picture, and email address from the respective authentication provider.

Personalization: We use your name and profile picture to personalize the wish message sent through timeSense.

Email Delivery: We use your email address to deliver the surprise wish message directly to your inbox.

timeSense always handle your data according to this privacy statement in order to make your data secured and private. There is no other intention of using your data on any other purposes that does not define in this statement.

Retention of personal data

timeSense is not designed to, have no purpose of retaining your data in order to provide its intended functionality. timeSense is not connected any internal or external databases, file systems, online forms whatsoever. Therefore, it will never store your data on any persistent platform. All your collected data will remain until a 3 minutes of time as long as your web session exists. After that, all collected data will be discarded from the application. You need to re-authenticate yourself in order to enjoy this service again.

Data deletion requests

As described in section "Retention of personal data", timeSense never stores any of data which were collected from third-party authentication providers, in this case, either Google or Facebook. At timeSense, we respect your right to control your personal information. However, If you believe that you would like to delete the data we have collected from you, including your name, profile picture, and email address in any circumstances, please contact us at my.journey.system@gmail.com. We will promptly respond to your request and ensure the deletion of your data in such case has revealed. We are transparent and open to reveal any source artefacts, resources, reports and other documents of this web project for any legal purposes required by compliant law enforcements.

Compliance with applicable laws

Our privacy policy complies with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal data. We are committed to accurately and clearly explaining our data processing practices and the purposes for which we process your information.

Transferring personal data

Currently, timeSense has no obligation or transferring or disclosing your collected data to any external entity. This statement of policy will be updated if it may require any transferring or disclosure of your data in future.
